Welcome to the FAQs for Barney Creek Cottages! We’ve compiled answers to common questions to help make your stay as smooth and enjoyable as possible. If you need more information, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

General FAQ’s

  • We do not have a cafe or restaurant on site. Food packages are available as an additional option for those staying in our couple's cottages. Alternatively, there is an array of cafes to visit in the local area.

  • We currently host a small number of weddings per year on our property. If this is something you’d like to find out more about, please contact us and we can provide a quote.

  • Unfortunately we don't have mobile service at the property. You're welcome to connect to the free guest wifi and use wifi calling or messages.

  • We offer WiFi around the reception area and the cellar door. The WiFi doesn’t extend to the cottages, which allows you to enjoy a truly relaxing and recharging stay.

Cellar door & wine FAQ’s

  • Our cellar door is open for free wine tasting Saturday and Sunday 10am-4pm, from the first weekend in April through till the last weekend in August. Outside of these times, wine can be purchased from reception or via our online store.

  • No! Please feel free to drop in for a wine tasting at any time during our opening hours.

  • No, you do not need to book in advance for large groups, we look forward to seeing you!

  • Our cellar door is open for free wine tasting Saturday and Sunday 10am-4pm, from the first weekend in April through till the last weekend in August. Outside of these times, wine can be purchased from reception or via our online store.

  • Our wine can be purchased at our cellar door (from April - August). Outside of cellar door hours, you can purchase our wine onsite at reception or our online store.

  • No , our wine tastings are free of charge.

Cottage Accommodation FAQs

  • You can book a one night stay mid week (Sunday through to Thursday). We do have a two night minimum over weekends and public holidays.

  • Food packages can be ordered at the time you make a booking. Alternatively, you can also order via our online guest directory Please note that as we use local produce, seven days' notice is required for all hampers.

  • We have a total of five cottages to choose from. You can check availability and book online.

  • Pets are welcome in all of our accommodations. Florries cottage is the most popular with pet owners as it has an enclosed wrap around verandah and fenced courtyard.

  • Dogs are welcome to walk around the property off lead. However, we do have lots of wildlife of the property and ask that if your dog is likely to chase the wildlife, they're kept on lead. You know your dog best so we leave this at your discretion.

  • You can book online here.

  • $30/pp per night (age 12+)

    $15/pp per night (age 3 - 11 years)

  • We have two campgrounds, both with creek access. The main one - Silky Oaks Campground has two showers and two toilets.

    The other one - The Junction has toilets only.

    You will need to book as we cap the numbers to 20 so we often book out.

    We require a 50% deposit and then the remainder a week before you arrive.

  • Yes you can. The cost is $600 per night for up to 20 people. Additional people are $30pp per night for 12 years and over and $15pp per night for 3-11 year olds.

  • It depends on the bookings. If the Silky Oaks Campground has been booked by a group, then the shower facilities will not be able to be shared.
